R. S. MERRILL. Merrill was one of the founders of the [[DUBUQUE ART ASSOCIATION]] and served as its secretary in 1874. (1)


The 1874-1875 ''Dubuque City Directory'' stated that this business was located at the southwest corner of 6th and Main.  
The 1868-69 ''Dubuque City Directory'' listed the northeast corner of 8th and Main.
