Howell, Dorothy. (Springfield, IL-- ). An active supporter of community organizations in Dubuque, Howell served on the boards of directors of the [[MOUNT PLEASANT HOME]], RSVP, and the [[DUBUQUE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA]].  She was a member of the [[DUBUQUE VISITING NURSE ASSOCIATION]] Junior Board and president of the board of the Dubuque Symphony League.
