CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS OF AMERICA. Our Lady of Victory Court, Catholic Daughters of America, was organized in Dubuque during January 1919. The local court, beginning with one hundred twenty-five members, was number 351 in the national organization. Margaret Lucas was the first grand regent.

The Court made annual donations to local charitable organizations including the [[DUBUQUE BOYS' CLUB]], [[VISITING NURSE ASSOCIATION]], and Neighborhood House. The Court also made contributions to an endowed scholarship to [[COLUMBIA COLLEGE]] for the education of poor boys desiring to become priests.
