STUBER, John, Sr. (Solithorn, Switzerland, Oct. 18, 1832-Dubuque, IA, 1909). Cabinetmaker. By way of several eastern cities, Stuber moved to Dubuque in 1857 where he helped organize the [[DUBUQUE CABINET MAKERS' ASSOCIATION]] in 1867.
