AMSDEN, Noah C. (Westfield, NY, Sept. 6, 1820--Minneapolis, MN, Nov. 16, 1891). Amsden worked in the commission business as soon as he and his family arrived in Dubuque in 1856.
His son Monroe AMSDEN became a leading businessman in Dubuque. Monroe's twin brother, C. M. Amsden, became the General Manager of the Minneapolis & Northern Elevator Company of Minneapolis.
