J. G. STATTUCK. In 1874 the ''Dubuque Herald'' announced that Mr. Shattuck was considering moving his home from Cedar Rapids to Dubuque. (1) He did move to Dubuque and was mentioned in the Dubuque Herald in on July 1, 1874 for investigating two cigar manufacturers for violations of rules regarding the rolling up of tobacco leaf. (2)


The 1878-79 ''Dubuque City Directory'' listed the west side of Main between 8th and 9th.

J. G. STATTUCK. In 1874 the Dubuque Herald announced that Mr. Shattuck was considering moving his home from Cedar Rapids to Dubuque. (1) He did move to Dubuque and was mentioned in the Dubuque Herald in on July 1, 1874 for investigating two cigar manufacturers for violations of rules regarding the rolling up of tobacco leaf. (2)

The 1878-79 Dubuque City Directory listed the west side of Main between 8th and 9th.

According to the 1883 Dubuque City Directory, this business was located at 852 Locust.
