WUNDERLICH, George W.(Dubuque, IA, Aug. 8, 1860--Dubuque, IA, July 1, 1918) Around 1884 George W. Wunderlich opened his first drug store. It was located at 2181-2183 Couler Avenue. He sold this drug store to John Becker and 1894 and opened another pharmacy at 955 Main. He remained in this location until 1907 when he sold out to Junkerman & Ris. At the time of his death, he was a traveling salesman for the G.D. Searle Drug Company of Chicago, Illinois.
