THOMAS FAHERTY-541 WEST THIRD STREET. The home, an example of ITALIAN VILLA ARCHITECTURE, was constructed for Thomas Faherty, in 1865. In 1902 it was owned by Cornelious and Ellen Ryan. He was listed as a salesman for the NATIONAL CASH REGISTER COMPANY (THE) in 1905. Major renovation occurred in 1970 when the interior was gutted.
