In 2015 the Orioles was comprised of men and women who wanted to make a difference in their respective communities by serving the community in a variety of ways. On the local level, Nests and Auxiliaries sponsored various fund raising events for members and their families; provided food for the needy during the holidays; supported local projects such as the YMCA/YWCA, rehabilitation centers, hospice care, etc.; awarded scholarships to members or their immediate family members so they could continue their education; as well as participated in many other functions.
