KEY CITY STATUARY AND ORNAMENTAL COMPANY. Founded in 1909, the company claimed to be the only union factory of its kind within a 300 mile radius of Dubuque. The firm made a specialty of manufacturing interior decorations fort public buildings, theaters, churches and residences manufacturing in plaster imitations of hand carved woods of various kinds.
In 1910 buildings in Dubuque which featured work by the company included the New Bijou theater.
In addition to the interior work, the company also manufactured exterior pieces including cement vases, church capitals, monuments, altars, pedestals and ornaments.
In 1910 the company was located at 21st and Washington.
