	Robert was involved in the radio industry for over thirty years as on-air, sales, program director, and broadcaster. He was proud that his daughter, Misty, followed in his footsteps in the radio business. He helped launch KLYV in Dubuque, and was associated with WJOD, KDTH, and many other stations during his career. He had played in various bands, including Robert A. and Helen, Pony Express, and Blue Willow. He also was a para-professional for the ~~Dubuque School System~~ after retiring from the radio industry ~~and most recently had been entertaining~~ people with his [[CIVIL WAR]] music program ~~throughout the area~~.		Robert's musical talents led him to become a guest performer for many organizations, nursing homes, and other events over the years. He had played in various bands, including Robert A. and Helen, Pony Express, and Blue Willow. He also was a para-professional for the [[DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT]] after retiring from the radio industry. He also entertained people throughout the area with his [[CIVIL WAR]] music program.
