	In 2010 the [[MISSISSIPPI BAND]] was inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Charlie Troy was the band's drummer. Troy started playing drums when he was 10 years old. His favorite drummer as a teenager was Ringo Starr. “I finally got to meet Ringo and his son Zach, in Las Vegas. 	The band was reunited in Dubuque for the [[ROCK 'N' ROLL REWIND]] weekend, hosted by the Courtside Sports Bar and Grill, Aug. 6-7, 2010. The Saturday performances were dedicated to bands that played in Dubuque in the 60s-70s. The Mississippi Band was a featured Saturday night band. The second annual Rock ~~and~~ Roll Rewind was a non-profit event, intended to raise significant contribution for Albrecht Acres, an organization that works with special needs children.		The band was reunited in Dubuque for the [[ROCK 'N' ROLL REWIND]] weekend, hosted by the Courtside Sports Bar and Grill, Aug. 6-7, 2010.
