(6) The building became the home of Becwar Tile & Marble after 1957.		In 1908 the brothers discontinued the saloon business which had been associated with the hotel. It was claimed the action resulted by the lawsuit filed by near-by residents who objected to the business. Similar action was being considered by other businesses along Clay Street. (5)

If a person happened to be staying at the hotel on Thanksgiving Day, dinner cost 12 1/2 cents. A guest of the hotel received three meals and a room for fifty cents a day.
