Dr. Schultz joined [[MEDICAL ASSOCIATES CLINIC PC (THE)]] in 2010 as a hospitalist. He became the chief medical officer in August 2020 and joined the county Board of Health in January 2021. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
On January 2, 2022 it was announced that Dr. Schultz had been named a fellow by the Infectious Diseases Society of America, an honor given to just 199 physicians and scientists in 2021.&lt;br /&gt;
