	PHOENIX THEATRES. A Michigan-based company, Phoenix Theatres announced on January 16, 2018 that it would renovate and reopen the former site of [[MINDFRAME THEATERS]] at [[KENNEDY MALL]]. The company's plan was to open the six-screen theater in mid-March. The Dubuque location would be the fourth theater owned by Phoenix and the first outside of Michigan. (2) It was at that theater that the Phoenix Theatre Company became one of the first operations in the nation to offer reclining seats in each and every auditorium. Along with heated seats, this concept was brought to Dubuque. (3)
