(1) He served as executive vie president of the Bank of New Hampshire N.A. in Manchester before opening McGeehan Associates, a bank and business consulting firm. (2)

	In 1983 McGeehan became the president, chief executive officer and director of [[AMERICAN TRUST AND SAVINGS BANK]] and remained in those positions until his retirement in 2000. He was the president of AMTRUST, Inc. in 1985. Until his death, he was a director of ATBancorp, the bank's holding company.
