	LEVI, James. (Saar Union, Germany, March 24, 1841-- ). Upon the completion of his education at the Third Ward School, Levi entered the dry goods store of [[C. W. ARTHUR]]. 	When Levi died, so many people wanted to attend the funeral (more than 600) that they could not be accommodated in the local temple.
