The Iowa High School Athletic Association News Media Award was presented to Leitner in appreciation for the many contributions he made to the interscholastic high school athletic program in Iowa. The presentation took place at halftime of the 2015 Iowa Class 3A state football championship game at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. Recipients were nominated by members of the IHSAA&amp;#039;s Board of Control.&lt;br /&gt;
