			On September 24, 2024 exceptionally positive news was made by Kennedy Mall officials. The announcement was made that five new stores would be opening at the Mall by December. Included among the new businesses was a 66,000-square foot, two-level World Earth Superstore which would carry men's and women's apparel, furniture, decor, cosmetics, a coffee bar and candy shop and a large selection of kids toys and entertainment. Among the other new businesses would be Bubbles Boba Tea, one of the first franchises of its kind in Iowa, Exotic Snack Guys with unique snacks and treats from around the world, and two beauty stores.
