	In 1924 increased business led to the opening of a second store in Dubuque. A partnership was formed leading the business to be called the Farmers Supply Company. Behr left this partnership when his son, Irwin J., joined him in opening J. J. Behr Implement Company. Land was purchased and construction began on a 96 x 114 foot building at 15 South Main. His business remained in Sherrill until 1924 operating out of a small frame building. (1)
