As a result of her work at First National, she was the recipient of many honors. She created, directed and produced numerous Advertising Federation of Dubuque award winning ads and marketing materials.		Hudson came to First National Bank as a marketing assistant in August 1987, after serving as the production/promotion manager for KDUB-TV. 	In 1988 Hudson was awarded the Iowa Bankers Association First Place Best of Iowa Marketing Award for community relations. 	A 1982 graduate of Clarke College, Hudson took courses at the University of Dubuque toward a Masters of Business Administration degree. She graduated with distinction from the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing in 1991 at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado. In 2008 she was the Senior Vice President-Marketing for [[AMERICAN TRUST AND SAVINGS BANK]].
