Brown, a clerk in their store, also established the [[UNITED STATES ELECTRIC COMPANY]] in Dubuque. (3) This business continued until his death in 1889.		In 1880 Hansen was a partner in the firm of [[HANSEN AND LINEHAN]], wholesale grocers, railroad and steamboat supplies, at No. 8 Levee. (2) Hansen and Linehan and W. J. Brown, a clerk in their store, also established the [[UNITED STATES ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER COMPANY]] in Dubuque. (3) This business continued until his death in 1889.
