He also~~ owned and operated [[DUBUQUE BUILDERS EXCHANGE]].		Greenfield began his working career as a glazier working for Standard Glass in Waterloo. Later he worked for The Nurrie Companies managing their glazing operations in Memphis, Tenn., Kansas City, Kan., and Dubuque. He later purchased the [[DUBUQUE GLASS COMPANY]] and owned and operated [[DUBUQUE BUILDERS EXCHANGE]].

	Always very active in his community, Greenfield was a member of [[ROCKDALE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH]], American Legion, Kiwanis Club, Dubuque Home Builders Association, [[DUBUQUE SHOOTING SOCIETY]] 990 Club, Dubuque Yacht Club, Mid-Town Mariners, [[DUBUQUE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB]], [[DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE]] and Dubuque Main Street Association. He served on the City of Dubuque Historic Preservation Commission.		Always very active in his community, Greenfield was a member of [[ROCKDALE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH]], American Legion, Kiwanis Club, Dubuque Home Builders Association, [[DUBUQUE SHOOTING SOCIETY]] 990 Club, Dubuque Yacht Club, Mid-Town Mariners, [[DUBUQUE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB]], [[DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE]] and the Dubuque Main Street Association.
