	CATHOLIC DAILY TRIBUNE. Published by the Catholic Printing Company from 1929 through 1938, the newspaper carried the banner "First and Only English Catholic Daily." (1) The state editor of the newspaper in 1932 was acclaimed poet, [[KLINKNER, Anthony Ferdinand Timothy\|Anthony Ferdinand Timothy KLINKNER]]. (2) In 1937 the newspaper had 1,360 subscribers. 	In March, 1938 Herbert S. Mann, for twenty years the business manager of the ''Racine Journal Times'' of Racine, Wisconsin took over the active management of the Catholic Daily Tribune. He succeeded C. C. Wild as general manager and treasurer of the publication. The announcement stated that this was the first step in the complete reorganization of the Catholic Printing Company, publishers of the Tribune. (4) Mann, however, died soon after taking over the newspaper.		In March, 1938 Herbert S. Mann, for twenty years the business manager of the ''Racine Journal Times'' of Racine, Wisconsin took over the active management of the ''Catholic Daily Tribune''. He succeeded C. C. Wild as general manager and treasurer of the publication. The announcement stated that this was the first step in the complete reorganization of the Catholic Printing Company, publishers of the Tribune. (4) Mann, however, died soon after taking over the newspaper.
