In 1958, Jim established [[BUTT'S FLORIST]] at 2197 University Avenue. Eventually the business would have locations in Dubuque and Dyersville. (1) When the business quickly outgrew that location, he moved the company up the street to the corner of University and Asbury Rd. (2300 University).
