			In 2025 the basement of the Bunker Hill Golf Course was described as a series of caverns all linked to a different addition. Each room was used for the storage of different recreational equipment used by every program offered by the city's Parks and Recreation Department. The space gradually became unusable due to water seeping in creating ideal conditions for black mold. Emergency repairs costing $27,000 included temporary repairs and mold removal. Plaster ceilings and interior walls were removed so that the damage could be clearly seen. Despite the dire sound of the situation, work was expected to be carried out quickly in the early summer of 2025. The cost critical work was the removal and re-installation of the foundation near the southwest corner of the building. Other work will involve details related to preventing further water problems. If the work came in under budget, parts of the building could made lead paint remediated.

			Another future project involved replacing the irrigation system from 1980. A potential bidder on the work in the fall of 2024 had come in 44% over the budget and the project had been temporarily cancelled. (14)
