Two specific events offered included the Quick Paint from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and a Nocturne, or night paint, from 5:00 p.m. <br />

Over $15,000 in first-, second-, and third=place awards were presented in categories including Mississippi Overlook,Riverfront Scene, Industrial, Street Scene, Rural Scene, Arboretum/Garden, and Artistic license. Paintings created were available for purchase at [[STEEPLE SQUARE]] and East 15th St. Catering. A young artist forum was planned as well as a demonstration for a [[CLARKE UNIVERSITY]] painting class.<br />
