He and his wife were a part of Teams of Our Lady. Dick also served as one of the founders and board member of KCRD, a product of Aquinas Communications Radio Network, a 501 (c) 3 -not-for-profit media company. A gifted writer, he authored and published the book '''Preserving the Family'''. In his younger years, Dick enjoyed being with his family, especially camping and fishing.
